Welcome to Clipit Support.

Clipit helps you capture text from your camera or from a photo you choose, refine the text, and save useful snippets for later.

How Clipit works

1. Open Clipit

2. Use Capture Text to detect text live with the camera

3. Or use Pick from Photos to import one image for OCR

4. Refine the detected text by deselecting lines you do not want

5. Tap Save & Copy

6. Open Saved later to copy all text or only selected lines

Supported devices

Live camera text capture requires:

• iOS 16 or later

• a supported iPhone with Apple Neural Engine support

If live camera scanning is unavailable on your device, you can still use Pick from Photos.
